Lavender is an fragrant perennial evergreen plant. Its woody bases carry lavender or purple blossoms from late spring to early fall, though there are mixtures with flowers of white or pink. Lavender is domestic to the regions around the Mediterranean Sea, but now domesticated in cool-winter, dry-summer areas in Europe. The use of Lavender dates back thousands of years, with the first registered uses by the Egyptians. Both the Greeks and the Romans had many uses for it, the commonest being for bathing, cooking, and as an component in perfume. Lavender was used as an after-bath scent by the Romans, who gifted the herb its name from the Latin word “lavare” which translates to wash.

Usage: Makes for an awesome, fragrant decoration or used in presents, teas, tinctures, and added to baked goods. It has a multitude of uses and can be included in ointments for its beneficial properties.

The Lavender from beGIN

The Lavender from beGIN is an elegant cocktail inspired by HRH Queen Elizabeth II’s luscious lavender garden. Unveil this sophisticated tipple and feast your orbs on the visual spectacle before your eyes. Smoke permeates from the glass tube, creating an illusion of mystery and leaving the delicate aroma of lavender lingering wistfully in the air, as ephemeral as the summer rain.
